In 1980, (LL10/80) Law Enacted By New York City which Was Latterly Updated Due To Some Façade Failures & The New Regulation Is Also Known As Local Law 11/98 (LL11/98). This Law Was Designed To Keep Home & Property Owners Aware Of Facade Conditions Of Buildings In New York City. All Buildings Which Have Six Or More Stories Come Under This Law, The Owner Of The Building Must Submit Periodical Inspection Report Of Their Exterior Walls & Appurtenances From A Certified & Licensed Engineer/Architect. This Report Presents Critical Examination Of The Building’s Facade Deficiencies & Must Be Filed With The New York City Department Of Buildings (DOB).
